There are three joint applications per year. In the spring's first joint application in January, you can apply to our English-language degree programmes, and in the spring's second joint application in March to our Finnish-language degree programmes. In the autumn, one joint application will be organised, in which applicants apply to both our Finnish and English-language degree programmes.
Applying for higher education degree studies in Finland is done online on Studyinfo.fi. You can find the application process explained in detail on that site.
Starting from 1 Jan 2025, applicants who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee in order to apply to higher education studies. Read more about the application fee on Studyinfo.
Also if you are a non-EU/EEA or Switzerland citizen, you might have to pay a tuition fee for your studies. Please check detailed information about tuition fees and scholarships.
If you are planning on applying for Bachelor's degree programmes, you need to have a higher secondary certificate (e.g. high school diploma) or a certificate from a higher level of education (e.g. Bachelor's certificate).
When applying for Master's degree studies at Haaga-Helia, you need to have a Bachelor's degree or higher and at least two years of work experience after completing the Bachelor's degree. Relevant degree and work experience depend on the desired degree programme. Either the Bachelor’s (or higher) degree or the work experience must be from the field of the degree programme.
