Rolling Admission for Bachelor's studies

The SAT test is an exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. It is a multiple-choice, digital or pencil-and-paper test administered by the College Board. The purpose of the SAT test is to measure the applicant's readiness for higher education and provide higher education institutions with one common data point that can be used to compare applicants.

Please note that if you apply with the SAT scores, you also need to have a higher/upper secondary degree (e.g. high school diploma) to be eligible to apply to Haaga-Helia through Rolling admission. Eligible applicants with an SAT score that exceeds the minimum requirement are invited to an  interview.

1. Register for the SAT test through the College Board's website. You can check test dates, deadlines for registration and test centers nearest to you on the College Board's website.
2. Take the SAT test in required sections: Evidence-based reading and writing and Math. Order your official SAT score report from the test organiser to be delivered directly to Haaga-Helia. The code for Haaga-Helia UAS is 7098.
   • Only the new SAT test taken after March 2016 is acceptable.
   • Reports printed or sent by the applicant themself are not acceptable.

Required SAT score

You must attain at least the required points per section (Evidence-based reading and writing, Math) to be invited to the interview and get accepted.

• Required SAT score in BBA programmes (Bachelor of Business Administration): 500 points in section Evidence-based reading and writing and 500 points in Math
• Required SAT score in BHM programmes (Bachelor of Hospitality Management): 500 points in Evidence-based reading and writing and 400 points in Math.

1. Choose the degree programme that you want to apply for and fill out the online application form during the application period on studyinfo.fi
2. Attach the required certificates to your application. Eligibility for Bachelor's degree programmes is higher/upper secondary education (e.g. high school diploma). Required documents of eligibility by country can be found on Haaga-Helia's website.

Eligible applicants with an SAT score that exceeds the minimum requirement are invited to an  interview.

Haaga-Helia sends invitations to the online interview a week before the interview date by email.

Participate in the admission interview. Please note that your identity will be checked during the group interview. You must present your passport, EU/EEA identity card or Finnish driving licence as the identification document.

The online interview will be assessed on a scale of pass/fail.

You will be notified of the selection result by email as soon as you have submitted the required certificates, your application has been processed and you have participated in the interview.

The original documents (diploma, transcript and official translations) may be checked when the student arrives in Finland and starts the studies.

Applicants with Vietnamese High School Graduation Certificate (Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông and Hoc Ba Trung Hoc Pho Thong)

Applicants who have completed (or complete during spring 2025 in spring application or autumn 2025 in autumn application) the above mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. Provisional/temporary documents are accepted.

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their 12th grade transcript of records:

• GPA 8.0 or higher
• English 8.0 or higher
• Mathematics 8.0 or higher

Chinese High School Graduation Certificate (中国高中毕业证书) (Beijing City, Shanghai City, Chongqing City, Guangdong Province, Hubei Province, Shandong Province and Sichuan Province). 

Applicants who have completed (or complete during spring 2025 in spring application or autumn 2025 in autumn application) the above mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their 12th grade transcript of records:

• English 70 % or higher
• Mathematics 70 % or higher

Applicants with All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or with Indian School Certificate (ISC) from Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE):

The applicants who have completed (or complete during spring 2025 in spring application or autumn 2025 in autumn application) the above mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate. 

• GPA 65 % or higher
• English 65 % or higher
• Mathematics 65 % or higher, or Economics 65 % or higher

Applicants with South Korean Junior College Diploma (associate degree) or Junior Vocational College Diploma (associate degree) (Korean: 준학사).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to an interview, applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

• GPA: 3.0/4.0 or B or 80% (if 4.0 scale) or 3.3/4.5 or B or 80% (if 4.5 scale) or higher
• International English language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following 
grades on their certificate:

BBA:

• GPA: 2.5 (Good/Gut) or higher
• English: 2.0 (Good/Gut) or higher
  • This score applies if English has been chosen as a Foreign Language instead of, for example, Italian, French, Spanish, Latin, or Ancient Greek. If English has not been chosen, international language certification is required, with the same requirements as in the joint application: uasinfo.fi.
• Mathematics: 2.0 (Good/Gut) or higher

BHM:

• GPA 3.0 (Satisfactory/Befriedigend) or higher
• English: 2.0 (Good/Gut) or higher
  • This score applies if English has been chosen as a Foreign Language instead of, for example, Italian, French, Spanish, Latin, or Ancient Greek. If English has not been chosen, international language certification is required, with the same requirements as in the joint application: uasinfo.fi.
• Mathematics: 3.0 (Satisfactory/Befriedigend) or higher

Applicants who have completed the above mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance.

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their Gümnaasiumi lõputunnistus (Certificate of General Education): 

• Mathematics:
  • Narrow mathematics: 4 or
  • Extensive mathematics: 3
• English (B2): 
  • English completed in B2-level: 4 or
  • International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)
     

Applicants with Irish Leaving Certificate (Irish: Scrúdú na hArdteistiméireachta).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates. The certificates have to be completed in the year 2017 or after.

BBA:
2017 or after:

• Mathematics:
  • If Higher Level, H5 or higher
  • If Ordinary Level, O2
• English: Higher Level H4 or higher, or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
  • English-requirement only applies if a student has completed their upper secondary degree at the Irish-speaking school (Irish: Gaelscoileanna)
• Additional 1 subject:
  • Higher Level, H4 or higher

Applicants can submit their additional grade from any subject. The applicants' best grade is considered for the additional subject.

BHM:
2017 or after:

• Mathematics:
  • If Higher Level, H6 or higher
  • If Ordinary Level, O3
• English: Higher Level H4 or higher, or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
  • English-requirement only applies if a student has completed their upper secondary degree at the Irish-speaking school (Irish: Gaelscoileanna)
• Additional 1 subject:
  • Higher Level, H4 or higher

Applicants can submit their additional grade from any subject. The applicants' best grade is considered for the additional subject.

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their Atestāts par vispārējo vidējo izglītību (Certificate of Secondary Education):

• Mathematics: 7
• English (B2 / first foreign language): 
  • English: 7 or
  • International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)
     

Applicants with Lithuanian Secondary School Diploma/Maturity Certificate (Lithuanian: Brandos Atestatas). Certificate must be obtained by completing State Examination (Lithuanian: Valstybinis brandos egzaminas). School-Level Examinations (Lithuanian: Mokyklinis brandos egzaminas) are not accepted.

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

BBA:

• GPA: Grade of 8/10 or higher in the final diploma
• Mathematics: Grade of 8/10 within Brandos Atestatas or 75% in the State Level Examination (Lithunian: Valstybinis)
• English: Grade of 8/10 within Brandos Atestatas or 75% in the State Level Examination (Lithunian: Valstybinis) or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: Grade of 7/10 or higher in the final diploma
• Mathematics: Grade of 7/10 within Brandos Atestatas or 65% in the State Level Examination (Lithunian: Valstybinis)
• English: Grade of 8/10 within Brandos Atestatas or 75% in the State Level Examination (Lithunian: Valstybinis) or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
   

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Mathematics: Matriculation exam from Mathematics: 3 or higher
• English: Matriculation exam from English 3 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)

Applicants with Portuguese High School Diploma (Portuguese: Certificado de fim de Estudos Secundários).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

BBA:

• GPA: 16/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 16/20 or higher (simplified mathematics excluded)
• English: 14/20 or higher or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 14/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 14/20 or higher (simplified mathematics excluded)
• English: 14/20 or higher or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
   

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their 
school performance. 

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their Diploma:

BBA:

• GPA: 8.0
• English: 8.0 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint 
  application: uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics
  • 7.5 or higher, if M1 level
  • 8.5 or higher, if M2 level

BHM:

• GPA: 7.0
• English: 8.0 higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint 
  application: uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics:
  • 7.0 or higher, if M1 level
  • 8.0 or higher, if M2 level

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their 
school performance. 

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their Maturita final examination certificate:

BBA:

• English 2 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint 
  application: uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics 2 or higher

BMH:

• English 2 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint 
  application: uasinfo.fi)
• Any other subject with the grade 2 or higher
  • The applicant’s best grade is considered for the other subject.

Applicants with Turkish High School Diploma (Turkish: Lise Diploması), whether from State High School (Turkish: Devlet Lise Diploması) or Private High School (Lise Bitirme Diploması).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

BBA:

• GPA: 70% or 4/5 or higher
• Mathematics: 70% or 4/5 or higher
• English: International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 55% or 3/5 or higher
• Mathematics: 55% or 3/5 or higher
• English: International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
   

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

• Completion of the ENEM-exam in 2009 or later with a grade of 60 % overall or higher
• International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)

Applicants with Colombian Academic High School Diploma (Spanish: Bachiller Académico) and completion of the ICFES State Examination (Saber 11°).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

• Completion of the ICFES examination with the overall score of 300/500 or higher
• International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
   

Applicants with completed Moroccan Baccalaureate diploma (French: Diplôme du Baccalauréat).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

• GPA: 16/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 16/20 or higher
• English: International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 15/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 15/20 or higher
• English: International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Applicants with South African National Senior Certificate with matriculation endorsement, also known as “Matric” examination.

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades / certificates:

BBA:

• GPA: 70% or higher (Life Orientation excluded)
• Mathematics: Level 6 or 70% or higher, or Mathematics Literacy: Level 7 or 80% or higher
• English: Level 5 or 60% or higher, or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 60% or higher (Life Orientation excluded)
• Mathematics: Level 5 or 60% or higher, or Mathematics Literacy: Level 6 or 70% or higher
• English: Level 5 or 60% or higher, or international language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance.

To be invited to the interview for BBA programme, applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

• GPA 13.0 or higher
• English 14.0 or higher (completed in the final/terminale year)
• Math 13.0 or higher (Spécialité Mathematics completed in either the première or terminale years)

To be invited to an interview for BHM programme, applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

• GPA 12.0 or higher
• English 14.0 or higher (completed in the final/terminale year)
• there is no requirement in Math
