Ulysseus European University opens doors to international RDI activities
The eight innovation hubs of the Ulysseus European University form a multidisciplinary environment where education, research and the business world meet. We conduct applied research with our European partner universities in projects, living labs, incubators, spin-offs and research centers.
Haaga-Helia is home to the Applied AI for Business and Education Innovation Hub, which focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in business and education.
Reaching for the HR Excellence in Research award
Haaga-Helia is the first Finnish university of applied sciences to aim for the HR Excellence in Research award. The HRS4R award is a recognition by the European Commission and it signals that the organisation and the employer acknowledge and promote the rights of researchers, value and support experiences of international mobility, and respect work-life balance.

In our research, development and innovation work, we comply with responsible research practices, responsible conduct of research and the principles of research ethics. In addition, we promote open science and research in accordance with both national and international principles and requirements.
