Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences
Haaga-Helia is a strongly business-orientated university of applied sciences in Finland. Through education, research and development, we prepare professionals for business and services. Students can become experts in business, tourism, hotel and restaurant management, journalism, information technology, or sports and leisure management.
Our campuses are located in Helsinki (Pasila, Malmi and Haaga), Porvoo and Vierumäki. At Haaga-Helia, students will become a member of a student community of over 11 000 members from approximately 100 nationalities!
We offer Bachelor's and Master's degrees both in English and Finnish. In addition, Open UAS and our broad selection of specialisation courses offer great opportunities for continuous learning.
Our practical studies give students the skills to work independently in various professional tasks and in international environments. Haaga-Helia aims for the qualitative employment of our students, and we want to keep all doors open to working life.
Open university of applied sciences
Haaga-Helia offers the Open University of Applied Sciences studies free of charge to upper secondary school students. During the studies, students can see what studying at a university of applied sciences is like. The studies can also be used later as part of a UAS degree. We offer courses both online and on campus.
Studying at an open university of applied sciences is also a good path to becoming a degree student. Students who have completed at least 55 ECTS credits can apply to become a degree student through the open path application.
School visits
We would be happy to present Haaga-Helia to your students. Our brand ambassadors (students) visit upper secondary schools and tell about their studies, Haaga-Helia's degree programmes and what it is like to study in a university of applied sciences. We do visits in our campus regions on site and online elsewhere in Finland and to other countries.

Virtual school presentation
We are also happy to present our degree programmes virtually, for example via Zoom or Teams.
Visits on our campuses
We also welcome interested applicants to visit us at our campuses for example during the open doors event in November.
