Guidance and wellbeing services

Each Haaga-Helia student has their own personal guidance counsellor. Your counsellor provides advice and guidance throughout your studies.

You can find the name of your own guidance counsellor by clicking “Student data” on Peppi's student homepage, and then pressing the “Student data” button at the bottom of the box.

Haaga-Helia's study guide contains all the degrees offered in Haaga-Helia, and

• their curricula and the timing of courses in the curricula,
• the minor packages, study modules, languages and culture, summer studies and other studies as well as
• the implementations of individual courses.

We recommend that you make a bookmark in your browser of your own degree's curriculum.

In the English study guide you can find English taught degrees:

• Bachelor's degrees started 2022 and thereafter.
• Bachelor's degrees' minor packages, study modules, languages and culture, summer studies and other studies. This module also helps you plan competences for your career.
• Master's degrees

Study advisors provide services in person at at a distance. They advise you in study related practices and with questions regarding your study right. Study advisors also process credit transfer applications and give you technical assistance in the preparation of your personal study plan (PSP). For more information go here.

Competence counselling teachers are experts on the majors and minors (specialisations) offered in Haaga-Helia Degree studies. They support both students and staff in questions related to their specific subjects. Read more here.

Haaga-Helia is an audited top-athlete friendly university. If you are a goal-oriented athlete or a competitive athlete, you can consult an athletes' guidance counsellor to facilitate the smooth combination of studies and sports career. International Services support Haaga-Helia's degree students who wish to go abroad for an exchange, as well as incoming exchange students. We also support Haaga-Helia's staff and teachers in international mobility. Read more here.

It is good to plan your graduation well in advance. You can find graduation instructions and graduation dates here.

Special needs teachers support and assist students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. They offer testing for the most common learning difficulties, and can issue a recommendation for individual arrangements if you need one. Study coaches offer guidance and support for continuing and succeeding in your studies, Contact them, for example, if you find your motivation starts to lessen, or you have challenges with focusing on studies or doing team work.

Haaga-Helia promotes inclusivity, safety and well-being through the Safer Space principles and service. We have processes in place to address discrimination, harassment, bullying, and other forms of inappropriate behavior if any member of the community experiences or observes such conduct. Please read FSHS letter and web page to new higher education students, download the FSHSDigi app, pay your health care fee, and make use of the HealthStart questionnaire.
