Guidance and advice
Each Haaga-Helia student has their own personal guidance counsellor. They provide a familiar and safe contact for students, supporting them throughout their studies.
Study Advisors help with study-related issues and give technical assistance when preparing the personal study plan (PSP). It is also possible to get help with filling the credit transfer form.
Competence Counselling Teachers are experts on the specialisations offered in Haaga-Helia Degree studies. They support both students and staff in questions related to their specific subjects.
In addition to your own guidance counsellor, Haaga-Helia offers you the opportunity to guidance provided by an Athletes' study coach.
International Services support Haaga-Helia's degree students going abroad and incoming exchange students. We also support Haaga-Helia's staff and teachers in international mobility.
Career counseling for Haaga-Helia's students is organised in cooperation between guidance counselors and Haaga-Helia's Career and Recruiting Team.
Wellbeing and learning support
Haaga-Helia supports and assists students with dyslexia, or other related learning difficulties by providing special arrangements and special needs services that facilitate studies at the UAS.
Study coaching is intended for Haaga-Helia students whose absorption in studies has begun to weaken. The study coach offers guidance and support for promoting studies and coping with studies
