Haaga-Helia offers a number of meetings, activities, and events to support our international degree students. Below you can find information about our upcoming actions for the Autumn 2025 Semester. All events are free and open to all students. Most events are held in English but are open to students studying in Finnish language degree programmes as well.
2025 International Degree Student Survey
The 2025 International Degree Student Survey is open form 21.10-16.11.2025.
To improve our services and better understand the needs of our international degree students, Haaga-Helia is organising an important survey that will run from Tuesday, 21 October (21.10) to Sunday, 16 November (16.11).
The 2025 International Degree Student (IDS) survey is anonymous. All international degree students are encouraged to participate. The results of the study will have an impact on the development of our future operation, services, content, and events.

- Student life
- Support and guidance
- Events for international students
- Applying for work/work placement
- Plans after graduation
- Learning satisfaction
- Overall satisfaction
- Opportunity to share your thoughts confidentially with open-ended comments
The link to IDS survey will be distributed via email, social media, Tuudo, Haaga-Helia’s webpage, and info screen on your campus.

After submitting your feedback, you can participate in a raffle to win one pair of headphones and a pair of movie tickets.

Employment webinars
Every semester Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia organise one-hour webinars to help students and alumni learn more about how to find employment in Finland. We will cover topics like CV, LinkedIn, and hidden jobs. Haaga-Helia's meetings take place on Zoom and are held in English. Students do not need to make an appointment to attend these sessions. Please note all times are Finnish time (UTC +2). Students interested in attending Laurea and Metropolia's webinars must register to attend.

Haaga-Helia's International and Career Services have put together a series of articles to help our students learn more about navigating finding employment in Finland.
Herizon Internship Program
Haaga-Helia continues to collaborate with the Herizon Internship Program. This semester, we have limited space for students to participate in the program. This internship opportunity is open to students with a minimum of 120 ECTS. From this semester, students can apply directly through Herizon.
The Herizon Internship now has two tracks IT and Engineering and Business. Students must select which track they are interested in when applying.
IT and Engineering
- Implementing a systematic hypothesis testing process in the core of the company
- Building or improving automation, project specifications, AI implementation, data understanding and documentation
- Introducing the impact of systematic experimenting and hypothesis testing in technical bottlenecks/challenges
- Solving problems by using the technical skills intern already has and elevate the solving by using AI (like co-pilot)
Business Track
- Implementing a systematic hypothesis testing process in the core of the company
- Building or improving data understanding, content, marketing & sales processes, ICP understanding and documentation
- Analysing and improving further steps from sales to customer success in various ways and methods ie. automations
- Introducing the impact of systematic experimenting and hypothesis testing in business goals related areas like marketing, sales
Who can apply?
- You have a minimum weighted GPA of 2.5
- You have atleast 120 ECTS
- You have not completed your work placement (basic or professional)
- Finnish and/or Swedish language skills are NOT required to apply for the Herizon Internship
Please note that students will be accepted to a two-week Bootcamp period of work with Herizon. After completing the Bootcamp, students who are active, interested, and motivated will move to the matching phase of the programme.
