Haaga-Helia offers a number of meetings, activities, and events to support our international degree students. Below you can find information about our upcoming actions for the 2024 Autumn semester.
Monthly online meetings for international students
Online Q&As
Haaga-Helia organises monthly hour-long online Q&A sessions for international students. You can ask questions about Finnish culture, employment, things to do in Finland, weather, food, or whatever topic suits your needs. Please note that while we will try to answer most questions you have, please do not share any personal details during our Q&As. These sessions will take place on Teams. Please note all times a Finnish time (UTC +2).
Employment webinars
On the last Wednesday of every month, we hold a one-hour online meeting to help students learn more about how to find employment in Finland. We will cover topics like CV, LinkedIn, and keeping motivated during the job search process. These meetings take place on Teams and are held in English. Students do not need to make an appointment to attend these sessions.
