Apply to Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences

Applying for higher education degree studies in Finland is done online on Studyinfo.fi. You can find the application process explained in detail on that site. Applying is always free but if you are a non-EU/EEA or Switzerland citizen, you might have to pay a tuition fee for your studies. Please check detailed information about tuition fees and scholarships.

If you are planning on applying for Bachelor's degree programmes, you need to have a higher secondary certificate (e.g. high school diploma) or higher.

When applying for Master's degree studies at Haaga-Helia, you need to have a Bachelor's degree or higher and at least two years of work experience after completing the Bachelor's degree. Relevant degree and work experience depend on the desired degree programme. Either the Bachelor’s (or higher) degree or the work experience must be from the field of the degree programme.

Applications for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes are usually submitted on Studyinfo.fi in January for studies starting in August, and in September for studies starting in January. Our rolling admission period (applicants applying with SAT test scores or with certificate-based student selection) is usually a bit longer than the joint application period.

Application form and detailed timetable are available on Studyinfo.fi. Please make sure that you fill out the right application form since there might be more than one ongoing application period.

Documents required for your application are listed on Studyinfo. You can attach these documents to your online application. Deadlines for the required documents are given on Studyinfo, as well. Please see frequently asked questions for the required documents of eligibility by country.

You can fill out the application form and send it without the required documents if you do not have them available when filling out the form. You can attach the missing documents to your application later through the link which you receive from Studyinfo to your email address or by logging into My Studyinfo -service with Finnish bank identification codes, mobile certificate, or certificate card.

Pre-reading materials and advance assignments for the examinations are published on Haaga-Helia's website. You can check whether the programme that you are applying for is using pre-reading material or advance assignments from Haaga-Helia´s website or from admission criteria in Studyinfo.fi. The degree programmes using the international UAS exam do not have any advance reading materials or pre-assignments.

Admission services send invitations to Haaga-Helia's entrance examinations by email a few weeks before the exam date. Applicants participating in the international UAS exam will receive a personal link by email approximately one week before the entrance exam. The personal link is needed for signing in to the UAS exam.

Participate in the entrance examination and/or admission interview. If you got accepted based on your SAT scores or higher secondary certificate results, you do not have to participate in the examination.

Results of the student selection are available on My Studyinfo service and applicants also receive results by email. The date, by which the results will be published, is stated in the admission criteria on Studyinfo.fi.
