Rolling Admission - Certificate-based student selection

1. Get acquainted with the available selection groups, required certificates and eligibility criteria for certificate-based student selection in Rolling Admission. (scroll down this page)
2. Eligibility for Bachelor's degree programmes in Rolling Admission through Certificate-based selection is a certain type of higher/upper secondary education (e.g. high school diploma) from a certain country. In some cases we also take into account incomplete degrees as soon as the degree is completed by the given deadline. Please read the requirements by country/degree carefully. 

1. Check the application schedule and available degree programmes.
2. Choose the degree programme that you want to apply for and fill out the online application form during the application period on studyinfo.fi
3. Attach the required certificates, passport, EU/EEA identity card or Finnish driving licence and other attachments to your application. If you are competing your higher secondary education during the application semester, attach your latest transcript of study records or other certificate provided by the learning institution that states the degree/qualification you are completing.

1. Haaga-Helia sends invitations to the online group interview a week before the interview date by email. Only eligible applicants with complete applications will be interviewed.
2. Participate in the interview. Please note that your identity will be checked during the interview. You must present your passport, EU/EEA identity card or Finnish driving licence as the identification document. The online group interview lasts approximately 40 minutes.

The online interview will be assessed on a scale of pass/fail.

You will be notified of the student selection result by email as soon as you have submitted all the required certificates, your application has been processed and you have participated in the online interview.

 The original documents (diploma, transcript and official translations) may be checked when the student arrives in Finland and starts their studies.

If you do not have one of the required certificates with required grades in Certificate-based selection or SAT test result with required score and High School Diploma in SAT-based selection, you are not eligible to apply in Rolling Admission application process. In that case, please get acquainted with eligibility criteria in Joint application.

Please notice that the Degree Programme in Aviation Business, online, uses only European certificate selection group.

If you do not have one of the required certificates with required grades in Certificate-based selection or SAT test result with required score and High School Diploma in SAT-based selection, you are not eligible to apply in Rolling Admission application process. In that case, please get acquainted with eligibility criteria in Joint application.

We will publish Certificate-based selection groups for Autumn 2026 application by February 2026.

Moroccan Baccalaureate diploma (Diplôme du Baccalauréat)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their diploma:

AUTUMN 2025 application:

BBA:

• GPA: 16/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 16/20 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 15/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 15/20 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)

SPRING 2026 application:

BBA:

• GPA: 12/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 13/20 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 12/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 13/20 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: uasinfo.fi)

South African National Senior Certificate with matriculation endorsement

Applicants with South African National Senior Certificate with matriculation endorsement, also known as “Matric” examination.

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

BBA:

• GPA: 70% or higher (Life Orientation excluded)
• Mathematics:
  • Level 6 or 70% or higher OR
  • Mathematics Literacy: Level 7 or 80% or higher
• English:
  • Level 5 or 60% or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 60% or higher (Life Orientation excluded)
• Mathematics:
  • Level 5 or 60% or higher OR
  • Mathematics Literacy: Level 6 or 70% or higher
• English:
  • Level 5 or 60% or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Chinese General High School Diploma (中国普通高中毕业证书)

Applicants with Chinese General High School Diploma (中国普通高中毕业证书) from Beijing City, Shanghai City, Chongqing City, Guangdong Province, Hubei Province, Shandong Province and Sichuan Province can apply in autumn 2025 application. In addition to this, in spring 2026 application applicants with Chinese General High School Diploma (中国普通高中毕业证书) from Anhui Province, Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province are also accepted.

Applicants who have completed (or will complete in autumn 2025 for the autumn 2025 application or in spring 2026 for the spring 2026 application) the above-mentioned education in the specified cities and provinces can be admitted based on their school performance.

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their 12th grade transcript of records:

• English: 70 % or higher
• Mathematics: 70 % or higher

All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (ISC) from Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE)

Applicants who have completed (or will complete in autumn 2025 for the autumn 2025 application or in spring 2026 for the spring 2026 application) the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate (or on their senior year's latest transcript of records if they are completing their education in spring 2026 for the spring 2026 application): 

• GPA: 65 % or higher
• English: 65 % or higher
• Mathematics: 65 % or higher, or Economics: 65 % or higher

South Korean Junior College Diploma (associate degree) or Junior Vocational College Diploma (associate degree) (준학사)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their diploma:

• GPA:
  • 3.0/4.0 or B or 80% or higher (if 4.0 scale) OR
  • 3.3/4.5 or B or 80% or higher (if 4.5 scale)
• English: International language certificate (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Thai Certificate of Secondary Education and transcript of records

Applicants with Thai Certificate of Secondary Education (Mathayom 6/Maw 6/มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6) and transcript of records for Mathayom 4-6 (Grades 10-12) are able to apply in spring 2026 application. 

Please notice that you cannot apply with this above mentioned education in autumn 2025 application.

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their 12th grade transcript of records:

• GPA: 3.0 or higher
• Mathematics: 3.0 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Vietnamese High School Graduation Certificate and transcript of study records: Bang Tot Nghiep Trung Hoc Pho Thong va Hoc Ba Trung Hoc Pho Thong

Applicants with Vietnamese High School Graduation Certificate and transcript of study records (Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông và Học Bạ Trung Học Phổ Thông)

Applicants who have completed (or will complete in autumn 2025 for the autumn 2025 application or in spring 2026 for the spring 2026 application) the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. Provisional/temporary documents are accepted.

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their 12th grade transcript of records:

• GPA: 8.0 or higher
• English: 8.0 or higher
• Mathematics: 8.0 or higher

Austrian Maturity Examination (Maturazeugnis) or Austrian Vocational Maturity Examination (Berufsreifeprüfung)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

BBA:

• GPA: 2.5 (Good/Gut) or higher
• English: 2.0 (Good/Gut) or higher
  • This score applies if English has been chosen as a Foreign Language instead of, for example, Italian, French, Spanish, Latin, or Ancient Greek. If English has not been chosen, English language certification is required, with the same requirements as in the joint application: www.uasinfo.fi.
• Mathematics: 2.0 (Good/Gut) or higher

BHM:

• GPA 3.0 (Satisfactory/Befriedigend) or higher
• English: 2.0 (Good/Gut) or higher
  • This score applies if English has been chosen as a Foreign Language instead of, for example, Italian, French, Spanish, Latin, or Ancient Greek. If English has not been chosen, English language certification is required, with the same requirements as in the joint application: www.uasinfo.fi.
• Mathematics: 3.0 (Satisfactory/Befriedigend) or higher

Estonian Certificate of General Education (Gümnaasiumi lõputunnistus)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate: 

• Mathematics:
  • Narrow mathematics: 4 or higher OR
  • Extensive mathematics: 3 or higher
• English:
  • English completed at B2 Level: 4 or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

French Baccalauréat Général or Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) (Option Internationale du Baccalauréat, OIB)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

BBA:

• GPA: 13.0 (autumn 2025 application) / 12.0 (spring 2026 application) or higher
• English: 14.0 or higher (completed in the final/terminale year)
• Mathematics: 13.0 or higher (Spécialité Mathematics completed in either the première or terminale years)

BHM:

• GPA: 12.0 or higher
• English: 14.0 or higher (completed in the final/terminale year)
• No requirement for mathematics

German Abitur diploma (Allgemeine Hochschulreife)

Applicants with German Abitur diploma (Allgemeine Hochschulreife).
Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

BBA:

• Mathematics: 8 or higher
• English: 8 or higher
   

BHM:

• Mathematics: 7 or higher
• English: 8 or higher

Irish Leaving Certificate (Scrúdú na hArdteistiméireachta)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview, applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate. The certificate must have been obtained in the year 2017 or later.

BBA:

• Mathematics:
  • If Higher Level, H5 or higher
  • If Ordinary Level, O2
• English:
  • Higher Level H4 or higher, or
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
    • English-requirement only applies if a student has completed their upper secondary degree at the Irish-speaking school (Gaelscoileanna)
• Additional 1 subject:
  • Higher Level, H4 or higher

Applicants can submit their additional grade from any subject. The applicants' best grade is considered for the additional subject.

BHM:

• Mathematics:
  • If Higher Level, H6 or higher
  • If Ordinary Level, O3
• English:
  • Higher Level H4 or higher, or
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
    • English-requirement only applies if a student has completed their upper secondary degree at the Irish-speaking school (Gaelscoileanna)
• Additional 1 subject:
  • Higher Level, H4 or higher

Applicants can submit their additional grade from any subject. The applicants' best grade is considered for the additional subject.

Applicants with Latvian Certificate of General Secondary Education and Statement of Records
(Atestāts par vispārējo vidējo izglītību un Sekmju izraksts).

Applicants who have completed (or will complete in spring 2026 for the spring 2026 application) the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate and/or statement of records (spring 2026 application):

• Mathematics: 7 or higher
• English:
  • English completed at B2 Level/First foreign language: 7 or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Lithuanian Secondary School Diploma/Maturity Certificate (Brandos Atestatas)

Applicants with Lithuanian Secondary School Diploma/Maturity Certificate (Brandos Atestatas). Certificate must be obtained by completing State Examination (Valstybinis brandos egzaminas). School-Level Examinations (Mokyklinis brandos egzaminas) are not accepted.

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

BBA:

• GPA: Grade of 8/10 or higher in the final diploma
• Mathematics:
  • Grade of 7/10 within Brandos Atestatas OR
  • 65% in the State Level Examination (Valstybinis)
• English:
  • Grade of 8/10 within Brandos Atestatas OR
  • 75% in the State Level Examination (Valstybinis) OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: Grade of 7/10 or higher in the final diploma
• Mathematics:
  • Grade of 6/10 within Brandos Atestatas OR
  • 45% in the State Level Examination (Valstybinis)
• English:
  • Grade of 8/10 within Brandos Atestatas OR
  • 75% in the State Level Examination (Valstybinis) OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Montenegrin General Secondary School Certificate or Vocational Secondary School Certificate and Matriculation Exam Diploma

Applicants with Montenegrin General Secondary School Certificate (Svjedočanstvo o završenoj srednjoj školi) or Vocational Secondary School Certificate (Svjedočanstvo o završenoj stručnoj školi) and Matriculation Exam Diploma (Diploma o položenom maturskom ispitu).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

• GPA: 3.0 or higher
• Mathematics:
  • Matriculation exam from Mathematics: 3 or higher
• English:
  • Matriculation exam from English: 3 or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Polish Maturity Certificate. Certificate must be obtained by completing the Matura Examination 

Applicants with Polish Maturity Certificate (Świadectwo dojrzałości) are able to apply in spring 2026 application. Certificate must be obtained by completing the Matura Examination (Egzamin maturalny). 

Please notice that you cannot apply with this above mentioned education in autumn 2025 application.

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education/examination in 2005 or after (Nowa Matura) can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

BBA:

• GPA: 60% or higher
• English:
  o Extended Level or Bilingual Level: 70% or higher OR
  o English language certification (same requirements as in joint application:
  www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics:
  o Basic Level: 60% or higher

BHM:

• GPA: 50% or higher
• English:
  o Extended Level or Bilingual Level: 70% or higher OR
  o English language certification (same requirements as in joint application:
  www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics:
  o Basic Level: 50% or higher

Applicants who will complete the above-mentioned examination in spring 2026 semester can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their transcript of records:

Portuguese High School Diploma (Certificado de fim de Estudos Secundários)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate:

• GPA: 16/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 16/20 or higher (simplified mathematics excluded)
• English: 14/20 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 14/20 or higher
• Mathematics: 14/20 or higher (simplified mathematics excluded)
• English: 14/20 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Romanian Diploma of Baccalaureate (Diploma de Bacalaureat)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their diploma:

BBA:

• GPA: 8.0 or higher
• English: B2 or higher in CEFR Language Level or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics: 7.5 or higher

BHM:

• GPA: 7.0 or higher
• English: B2 or higher in CEFR Language Level or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics: 7.0 or higher

Applicants who will complete the above-mentioned examination in spring 2026 semester can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their 11th (XI) grade transcript of records:

BBA:

• GPA: 8.0 or higher
• English: 8.0 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics: 7.5 or higher

BHM:

• GPA: 7.0 or higher
• English: 8.0 or higher or English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics: 7.0 or higher

Slovakian Maturita Certificate (Vysvédcenie o maturitnej skúske)

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

BBA:

• English:
  • English completed at B2 Level: 2 (Commendable/Chválitebný) or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
• Mathematics or Accounting or Economics:
  • 2 (Commendable/Chválitebný) or higher OR
  • from transcript of grades for all four upper secondary years (Vysvédcenie, rocnik 1-4)
    an average grade of 2 (Commendable/Chválitebný) or higher

BHM:

• English:
  • English completed at B2 Level: 2 (Commendable/Chválitebný) or higher OR
  • English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
• Additional 1 subject:
  • Grade 2 (Commendable/Chválitebný) or higher

Applicants can submit their additional grade from any subject. The applicants' best grade is considered for the additional subject.

Turkish High School Diploma (Lise Diploması)

Turkish High School Diploma (Lise Diploması), either from State High School (Devlet Lise Diploması) or Private High School (Lise Bitirme Diploması).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their diploma:

BBA:

• GPA: 70% or 4/5 or higher
• Mathematics: 70% or 4/5 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

BHM:

• GPA: 55% or 3/5 or higher
• Mathematics: 55% or 3/5 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Brazilian Upper Secondary Diploma or Professional Upper Secondary Diploma and completion of the ENEM exam

Applicants with Brazilian Upper Secondary Diploma (Diploma/Certificado de Conclusão do Ensino Médio) or Brazilian Professional Upper Secondary Diploma (Diploma/Certificado de Técnico de Nível Médio) and completion of the ENEM exam (Exame Nacional Do Ensino Médio).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. 

To be invited to the interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

• Completion of the ENEM-exam in 2009 or later with a grade of 60 % overall or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Colombian Academic High School Diploma and completion of the ICFES State Examination

Applicants with Colombian Academic High School Diploma (Bachiller Académico) and completion of the ICFES State Examination (Saber 11°).

Applicants who have completed the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificates:

• Completion of the ICFES examination with the overall score of 300/500 or higher
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)

Mexican High School Diploma

Applicants with Mexican High School Diploma (Certificado de Bachillerato/Diploma de Bachiller) must submit their Certificado de Terminación de Estudios, issued by the Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP), along with their transcript of records (Historial académico/Expediente académico). Both the certificate and the transcript must be signed and stamped by the institution where the applicant completed their upper secondary education.

Please notice that you cannot apply with this above mentioned education in autumn 2025 application.

Applicants who have completed (or will complete in spring 2026 for the spring application) the above-mentioned education can be admitted based on their school performance in spring 2026 application. To be invited to an interview applicants are required to have the following grades on their certificate/transcript of records:

• GPA: 7.5 or higher
• Mathematics: grade 6 or higher OR Aprobado, Suficiente, Muy Bien or Excelente in final year
• English language certification (same requirements as in joint application: www.uasinfo.fi)
