What is StartUp School?

StartUp School is one of Haaga-Helia's labs.

We are an inspiring and thriving StartUp community that creates new businesses in Finland and is a strong coach in entrepreneurship competencies.

StartUp School serves all Haaga-Helia students interested in entrepreneurship.

We offer coaching for business development and opportunities for integrating entrepreneurship into studies (Work&Study). We utilize modern higher education pedagogy, Haaga-Helia experts, and a multidisciplinary network of specialists in our activities.

We support international degree students in employing themselves by establishing businesses in Finland.

We provide you with the keys to the best entrepreneurship competencies and diverse networks in entrepreneurship.

Advice and coaching
No appointment needed, Mondays from 2–4 PM, at the SuS Lounge on the 1st floor of the Pasila campus (room PA/1210).

StartUp School Work & Study

Turn developing your business idea, starting a business, or running an existing business to credits.
The study plan, schedule and scope are agreed together with the Work & Study supervisor.
5-30 credits

Confidential discussions between the student and the coach.
Five meetings with the coach and jointly agreed tasks.
Intended for existing student companies or students who have already taken their business idea forward.
