Rolling admission is Haaga-Helia's own separate application process that gives an applicant an opportunity to apply directly to a degree programme with an SAT selection or certificate selection and get the notification of student selection result soon after the admission interview. It is an alternative to entrance examinations in Joint application. The applicants who satisfy all the admission criteria will be accepted in the order that they have submitted their complete application. The number of study places is limited.

You can apply in Haaga-Helia's Rolling admission with SAT test score OR with the following Certificate Selection in autumn 2024 application:

  • Vietnamese High School Graduation Diploma OR
  • Chinese General High School Diploma from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong province OR Hubei province OR
  • All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) OR Indian School Certificate (ISC) from Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) OR
  • Latvian Certificate of General Secondary education OR
  • Estonian Certificate of General Education OR
  • French Baccalauréat Géneral and Option International du Baccalauréat

You can apply in Haaga-Helia's Rolling admission with SAT test score OR with the following Certificate Selection in spring 2025 application:

  • Vietnamese High School Graduation Diploma OR
  • Chinese General High School Diploma from Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangdong province, Hubei province, Shandong Province OR Sichuan Province OR
  • All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) OR Indian School Certificate (ISC) from Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) OR
  • Brazilian Upper Secondary Diploma OR Professional Upper Secondary Diploma and completion of the ENEM exam OR 
  • French Baccalauréat Géneral and Option International du Baccalauréat OR
  • European certificate selection group:
    • Latvian Certificate of General Secondary education OR
    • Estonian Certificate of General Education OR
    • Austrian Maturity examination OR Austrian Vocational maturity examination OR
    • Slovakian Maturita final examination OR
    • Montenegrin high school certificate OR a certificate of a four-year secondary education OR
    • Romanian Diploma of Baccalaureate

Applying through Rolling admission for studies starting in January 2025

Application period from 3 June to 30 September 2024

During the application period, you can apply for the following Bachelor's degree programmes:

The admission process is based on rolling admission and the number of study places is limited. Once the study places have been filled new applicants cannot be accepted to study. Please note that you can choose only one option out of two study options and fill only one application form during Rolling admission application period.

The intake numbers for the January 2025 intake are:

  • Business Information Technology: 31 (13 applicants by SAT scores and 18 applicants by certificate-based selection: V: 4, C: 4, I: 4, F: 2, L: 2, E: 2)
  • International Business: 19 (3 applicants by SAT scores and 16 applicants by certificate-based selection: V: 3, C: 3, I: 3, F: 3, L: 2, E: 2)
  • Strategic Hospitality Management: 16 (8 applicants by SAT scores and 8 applicants by certificate-based selection: V: 1, C: 1, I: 1, F: 1, L: 2, E: 2)

The applicants who satisfy all the admission criteria will be accepted in the order that they have submitted their complete application. An application is considered complete when Haaga-Helia has received the online application and all required documents and an applicant has passed the online interview.

  • Submit an online application by 30 September 2024 at 15:00 Finnish time (UTC/GMT+3) on Studyinfo.
  • Attach required educational and other documents to your application by 7 October 2024 at 15:00 Finnish time.
  • If you apply with SAT test score, order an SAT score report from the test organizer so that the scores are available in SAT database by 7 October 2024. (Latest possible SAT test date by College board 24 August 2024)
  • Participate in the online interview. Interviews will be held on the following days: 29.-30.8.2024 and 24.-25.10.2024.

The applicant will be notified of the result of the student selection as soon as the application has been processed.

Accepted applicants need to confirm the offered study place by 28 November 2024 at 15:00 Finnish time and pay the tuition fee by the deadline given in the acceptance email.

Haaga-Helia reserves the right to make changes to the Rolling Admission application process and admission criteria.

Application period 23 January to 26 March 2025

  • If you apply with SAT test score, order an SAT score report from the test organizer so that the scores are available in SAT database by 2 April 2025. (Latest possible SAT test date by College board 8 March 2025)
  • Participate in the online interview. Interviews will be held during the application period on the following days: 27 - 28 February 2025, 27 - 28 March 2025 and 24 - 25 April 2025.

The applicant will be notified of the result of the student selection as soon as the application has been processed and applicant has participared an online interview.

Accepted applicants need to confirm the offered study place by 10 July 2025 at 15:00 Finnish time and pay the tuition fee by the deadline given in the acceptance email.

The Ministry of education and culture is preparing changes in legislation considering application fees for applicants to degree programmes in higher education in Finland. The application fees are to be introduced for applications starting 1 January 2025 and onwards, when applying for degree programmes beginning on or after 1 August 2025.
