CREAFORUM - Co-operation for education, business sector, organisations and creative industry

CREAFORUM is a platform (or laboratory) that fosters relationships and synergies between education, businesses, creative industry professionals, and non-governmental organizations. It is based on design and creative thinking and encourages collaboration between its participants.

The project aims to create a 'Creative Business Lab' concept, which is based on an international network of universities, businesses, nongovernmental organisations, and creative industry players, all connected by a virtual environment. This virtual environment will allow for the sharing of ideas, resources, and knowledge between the different members of the network.

The project fosters regional cooperation and promotes the integration of creative learning techniques into traditional service design lab activities. Through this initiative, universities, creative industries, and various companies and organizations will collaborate and work together. This will involve teachers, researchers, students, artists, designers, writers, and other professionals to combine their knowledge, skills, and experiences to create innovative and effective solutions.

The project also encourages collaboration between students and professionals from different sectors, allowing for the experience of design-based learning and learning-by-doing. The project utilizes service design thinking and creative methods, supported by an internet-based environment, to generate innovative solutions to problems that private companies and public organizations face. Through this project, students are able to build valuable team-work skills and find meaningful research topics for their thesis.
