Introductory entrepreneurship courses are not enough

The Customer Experience (CX) Designer (aka 'Experience Designer') minor is run as a game with three levels which relate to three phases/courses (the Tutorial, the Super Experience Challenge, and the Final Boss Battle).

This minor follows a structured progression: initially, you will master the design thinking process and service design principles and methods. Subsequently, you will collaborate with selected partner companies to develop human-centric experience concepts. Finally, the most innovative solutions will be prototyped and tested in the real world.

The objective is to cultivate the ability to craft Super Experiences that significantly elevate customer engagement. To achieve this, students will develop a distinctive set of competences that embody the unique profile of an Experience Designer.

Haaga-Helia's CX Designer minor is a comprehensive 30 ECTS competence package, which starts in January 2025 and ends in May 2025. This minor integrates students and teachers from the various campuses with industry-leading partners. Throughout the courses, participants will immerse themselves in exceptional experiences while simultaneously crafting memorable experiences for others.

After the semester, you will not be the same person. You will acquire the competencies to create significant impact, leaving an indelible impression on others through your ability to evoke extraordinary experiences while cultivating the mindset of a designer. Essentially, you will develop skills that transcend AI capabilities, ensuring your unique value in an increasingly automated world.

As an aspiring 'Experience Designer', you will engage in collaborative learning with peers from diverse Haaga-Helia degree programmes and representatives of partner-companies. The learning environment will be dynamic, alternating between intensive sessions at the Pasila or Haaga campuses, virtual team collaborations, and independent study time.
