International Staff Week 5-8 May 2026
Welcome to Haaga-Helia International Staff Week 2026: Cultural Diversity and Inclusion!
This Staff Week explores culture and diversity as essential elements of inclusive higher education. Through shared perspectives and practical examples, we reflect on how cultural awareness and diversity strengthen collaboration, learning, and international engagement. During this week you will learn how culture shapes communication beyond language, using stories, theatre exercises, and shared reflection to build deeper understanding across differences. You have also an opportunity to get to know better with Haaga-Helia's services. The week also gives you the opportunity to explore Finnish culture and meet and connect with new people.
What?
International Staff Week is a four-day event organized by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences' International Services. During the event, participants will be able to network, share experiences and best practices, and get new perspectives and ideas for their work.
When & Where?
Haaga-Helia's 2026 International Staff Week will take place from 5 May to 8 May 2026. This year's program will take place in Helsinki on Pasila campus with one day visit to Vierumäki campus.

For Whom?
The International Staff Week is open for non-academic staff administrative staff members. Please note that the number of participants is limited and the priority is given to participants from Haaga-Helia partner universities. We will confirm the selected participants by the end of February.
Participation Fee
The participation fee for the staff week is 150€ for staff from Haaga-Helia's partner instutions and 450€ for non-partners. The fee includes a welcome dinner, lunches during the event, transportation to Vierumäki and activities.
