Period 4 and 5 implementations  

Enrollment for 4th period implementations ends on Fri 22 March and enrollment for 5th period (summer) implementations ends on Fri 17 May. The course offering can be found on Master students’ timetable web pages. 3UAS spring and summer 2024 studies

Leadership skills for a changing world (5 ECTS) is a master’s level course about leadership skills needed in the future. The course is useful for anyone who plans on working as a leader in the future. The topics of the course change every year depending on what are the most current and interesting topics at the time. This year’s themes are:

• Inclusive leadership through Collaborative Storytelling
• Coaching leadership
• Driving sustainability through customer-oriented leadership

Haluatko oppia luomaan kehitystä ja menestyä, myös kansainvälisesti? TKI-osaaja – tutkimus-, kehittämis- ja innovaatiotoiminta tutuksi -opintokokonaisuus (5 op) koostuu viidestä yhden opintopisteen laajuisesta itsenäisesti suoritettavasta verkko-opintojaksosta, eli MOOCista (Massive Open Online Course). Opintokokonaisuuden voi suorittaa ajasta ja paikasta riippumatta, eikä opintojaksojen suoritusjärjestyksellä ole merkitystä. Language Café in Pasila library 

Do you want to learn Finnish? Welcome to the language café in the Pasila campus library! In the language café you can use Finnish with native speakers in a relaxed atmosphere. We can chat about anything – the most important thing is to chat in Finnish. Library offers you coffee and tea. You don't need to prepare in any way, you can just show up! The language café is taking place in the Pasila campus library, in room 3204 every other Wednesday. Read more here.

Study Services 

All Haaga-Helia students can get study services from all campuses and from Pasila customer service desk (2nd floor). Online Customer Service in Zoom is open starting from Monday 22 January. Study Services provides students with information and guidance concerning study practicalities, graduation and issues concerning study right as well as basic documents, e.g. letters of enrolment, transcripts of records and Kela Meal Subsidy Cards. 

You can order official certified electronic study certificates and transcript of records from Peppi.   

Healthcare fee for students

Master thesis 

The thesis should be started at the beginning of the third semester i.e. second study year the latest. You can find support and information from Master thesis web page and on the Applied Design Research course. If you don’t have a thesis topic yet, remember to participate in the Master seminar of your specialisation where you can get support for ideation.
