Lappalainen works in Haaga-Helia, in the research area of sales development and digitalization leading and coordinating different sustainability related projects and preparing new project proposals, domestic and international. Her expertise in projects focuses especially in project implementation, where she utilizes her strong project management and communication skills, including cooperation with SMEs, dissemination and quality assurance activities.
Lappalainen has a strong business background (20 years) in data-driven customer marketing and sales in Otavamedia. During resent years, she has worked with senior/principal lecturers, researchers and coaches in various projects in Haaga-Helia, Metropolia and coaching company Novetos to promote twin transition and especially social responsibility of SMEs. She has a passion for co-designing solutions for leadership, HR development and continuous learning to promote better employee experinece in changing worklife.
