Note: You can apply for pre approval for a course offered by another higher education institution using the pre-credit approval application form. Please see the instructions. This process is called pre-credit approval, and it allows you to ensure in advance that the planned course is suitable for your degree and Personal Study Plan (PSP).

Before completing the application form, always have a guidance discussion with your guidance counsellor or international affairs specialist. Pre-credit approval can be applied for both studies taken at another higher education institution and studies completed during an exchange period.

Pre-credit approval is not required for studies completed through the cross-institutional study service RIPA. Please see the detailed RIPA instructions for more information.

After completing a course that has been granted pre approval, submit a credit transfer application in Peppi based on the pre-credit approval application. Update the application with the required information, such as the grade and other relevant details, and submit it according to the credit transfer process either to your study counsellor or, in the case of exchange studies, to the international affairs specialist.
