The EU Pay Transparency Directive (970/2023) must be transposed into national law by June 2026. Article 4(2) of the Directive requires Member States to provide job evaluation tools for assessing the value of work.
The aim of this study was to assess how this requirement relates to the pay systems already used in Finland, what further development may be needed and how Sweden and Iceland have prepared for implementing the Directive.
