Digital solutions for events create a whole new field of activity where it is possible to achieve growth with a bold, insightful approach that creates new types of innovation networks. Growth is sought by
- building business clusters that can implement new business models and service concepts for hybrid events,
- increasing virtual event expertise in event SMEs,
- creating an understanding of how the customer experience is formed in a virtual event
- describing virtual and hybrid events processes and
- highlighting expertise and service solutions related to virtual solutions in the event industry.
The project will build a cooperation and innovation network that brings together digital service companies, the tourism and restaurant industry, conference hotels, studios, event companies and corporate clients. Virtual implementations can utilise, for example, expertise related to the design of virtual worlds of the gaming industry or visual expertise of the film industry. Cross-pollination of such new partners in generating service innovations is considered to be particularly important for the future of the industry.
