KOPEDA – Higher education pedagogy

The KOPEDA research group combines Haaga-Helia's experience in higher education, development and research activities.

KOPEDA operates in the Finnish field of higher education, while our research group Transnational higher education and pedagogy (THEP) focuses on the transformation of higher education through international collaboration. Click here to learn about THEP and international cooperation.

KOPEDA (abbreviation from the Finnish word 'korkeakoulupedagogiikka') produces higher education pedagogical publications, coaching and research. Competence is also utilized in the development of knowledge in higher education and management. KOPEDA builds cooperation between business and higher education students.

Our research, development and training areas include higher education pedagogy, pedagogical leadership, pedagogical well-being, developing the integration of RDI and teaching (RDIL), artificial intelligence and digital pedagogy, Master's degree pedagogy and guidance and career counselling.
