Guidelines for Writing Reports

• Assignments format is used for short assignments up to 5 pages, and without cover page and table of contents. This format follows the Finnish document standard SFS 2487.
• Reports format is used for longer reports of more than 5 pages, and it has a cover page, table of contents, unlimited number of pages and a list of sources used.
• Thesis format is the same as the reports format, but it follows the chapter structure of a thesis..

When you use literature and other sources in your assignments, remember to reference your sources according to good academic practice.
