The ENRICHER hubs project, coordinated by Haaga-Helia, promotes sustainable tourism in Georgia and Moldova with the support of EU partner universities. The Erasmus Plus project has been running since the beginning of 2024. Eight universities are involved, six from Georgia and Moldova, one from Italy and one from Austria.

The project's best practices report was written by specialists from Haaga-Helia, MCI and the University of Genoa. The report presents the actors involved in and promoting sustainable tourism. It includes the Finnish Flow Festival and Äksyt Ämmät, the Austrian Boutiqhotel Stadthalle and the Italian olive oil farm and wellness centre L'Adagio. The report will serve as an excellent benchmarking tool for those interested in the subject.

The project has also carried out a review of the prospects for sustainable tourism in Georgia and Moldova. The report, written by Giorgi Bregadze (Caucasus University, Georgia), opens up the situation, opportunities and challenges of sustainable tourism in these countries.
