Graduation

You can apply for graduation after all your study credits, including thesis, are completed and evaluated in your study record. The last day to apply for graduation in the autumn semester is 7 December 2026 at 23.59, if you wish to graduate on the day of the graduation ceremony 14 December 2026. More information about the Haaga-Helia joint graduation ceremony on the graduation ceremony page.

Note! If you are unable to complete your studies by 7 December 2026, you may still finish the remaining coursework by the end of the academic year, i.e. by 31 December 2026. If you complete and submit all assignments/reports required for assessment during the period of your study right and apply for graduation no later than December 31, you can still graduate without applying for extension of study time. Graduating within this year applies that all completed coursework will be approved.

Please plan well in advance with your thesis advisor the day when you hand in your thesis for evaluation. The thesis evaluation process can take up to three weeks, so the thesis needs to be ready in mid-November unless otherwise agreed with the advisor. More information about the evaluation and finishing the thesis can be found on Master students’ thesis pages.
