Enrolment for autumn studies 

The second enrolment has begun on 2 June and will end at 16.00 on the Friday of the week before the implementation begins. New students are given priority in some of the implementations and enrolment for these will begin in August. These implementations are listed in the Master implementations 25-26 table.

Enrolment for attendance/non-attendance 2025-2026 and right to study 

Students have to enrol for attendance/non-attendance each academic year. Enroll as present or absent for the following academic (2025-2026) year in Peppi during 1 April – 13 June 2025.  Master student’s right to study is 6 semesters = 3 years. At the beginning of studies the statutory study time of 2 years is entered in the personal study plan (PSP). If the student's statutory study time has been fulfilled and the student is still attending the fourth semester, a one year's extension to complete student’s studies is automatically added to PSP. In this case, the study time in PSP is also updated from two years to three years. 

Thesis workshops in the autumn 2025      

The thesis workshops support the planning and implementation of the Master thesis and are intended for all Master students. Participating in the workshops is voluntary and does not accumulate study points, but according to the feedback, they are useful at every stage of the thesis. Workshops will be held on Mondays from 17 to 19 online and enrolment for thesis workshops will begin in August.

  • Tässä työpajassa tarkastellaan erilaisia lähestymistapoja aiheen valintaan, tutkitaan aiheiden mielekkyyttä oman työuran näkökulmasta ja ideoidaan aiheita luovien harjoitusten avulla. Työpaja soveltuu erityisesti sellaisille opiskelijoille, joilla ei vielä ole aihetta eikä toimeksiantajaa. 

• 22.9. - Choosing a Meaningful Research Topic 

  • In this workshop we will look at different approaches to choosing a topic, explore meaningful topics from a career development perspective and ideate possible topics with the help of creative exercises. This workshop is suitable for students who do not yet have a topic nor a commissioner. 

• 29.9. - Tekoäly opinnäytetyössä 

  • Työpaja on kaksikielinen. Suomenkielinen esitys, jossa on englanninkieliset diat myös tekstitetään englanniksi. Osallistujat voivat osallistua keskusteluun joko suomeksi tai englanniksi. 

  • The workshop is multilingual. Presentation is in Finnish with subtitles and English slides. Participants may join conversation either in Finnish or in English.

Kiertotalous: Kilpailukyky ja planeettamme pelastus (Only in Finnish)

On suositeltavaa, että jokainen Haaga-Helian tutkinto-opiskelija opiskelee vähintään yhden kiertotalouskurssin. Kiertotalouden opintojaksoilla opit, kuinka rakennetaan kestävää hiilineutraalia tulevaisuutta. Liiketoiminnan kehittämisessä hyödynnetään kiertotalousajattelua (RETHINK) - kaikki materiaalit kiertävät, ei muodostu jätettä eikä päästöjä. 

Syksyn 2025 opintojaksot 

Kiertotalouden ja ympäristövaikutusten johtaminen (5 op)  

• Opintojaksolla saat kokonaiskuvan, miten kiertotalouteen perustuvaa liiketoimintaa ja ympäristövastuuta johdetaan sekä miten kestävä strategia ja toimintatavat jalkautetaan.

The thesis should be started at the beginning of the third semester i.e. second study year the latest. You can find support and information from Master thesis website

Master team’s summer break 

The Master administration team will be on summer holiday from 27.6. onwards. You can reach us again starting from 4th of August via Master e-mail address. The teachers will be on summer holiday from 12.6. to 4.8. You can get services from Study Services by email and phone during the summer. Have a nice summer!
