Important dates for autumn    

The dates of the academic year can be found from our  websites. 

Graduating in December 

The last day to apply for graduation in the autumn semester was Monday 8 December 2025. The application opens again online Wednesday 7 January 2026.

Note! If you complete all the work/reports required for the assessment of the missing credits and return them by December 31, you can still graduate this year. In this case, please contact Study Services ([email protected]) immediately for more information. 

Please note! For those applying for a degree certificate after December 8, the degree certificate will be delivered possibly in mid-January at the earliest.

Graduation ceremony 

The graduation ceremony for the autumn semester will take place on Thursday 18 December 2025. The possibility to attend the graduation ceremony is not linked to the graduation date. Everyone who applies for graduation during autumn semester 2025 and graduates by December can attend the ceremony. 

Post-enrolment    

The post-enrolment begins on 15 December 2025 at 9.00 am and ends at 4.00 pm on the Friday of the week before the implementation begins. Please always check the registration period for each implementation in Peppi or Lukkarikone. Registration for English-language courses intended for new students is only possible from 5 to 9 January.

The spring and summer 2026 implementations listed below still have plenty of space available.

Method workshops from 18.00 to 20.30

Method evenings from 18.00 to 20.30 

Autumn semester method evenings will be held in Finnish and spring semester method evenings will be held in English. 

• Wednesday February 11 at 18.00 o’clock (ca. 2.5 h) Interviews and content analysis. Assessing reliability and validity, Principal Lecturer Juha Lindstedt 

• Tuesday February 24 at 18.00 o’clock (ca. 2.5 h) Questionnaire design and use of Webropol for collecting data. Analysing and presenting quantitative data, Principal Lecturer Pirjo Saaranen 

Apply for Student Exchange 

The main application round for student exchange studies for the Autumn 2026 and Spring 2027 academic year will be open on 26.1.2026–9.2.2026. Master team on Christmas break   

Master team is on Christmas break from 23.12.2025 to 1.1.2026. You can reach us again starting from Jan 2 on Master e-mail address. The teachers will be available starting from Jan 5.
