Idea competition: Name for the new premises of hospitality management education

The Haaga campus will move to Pasila during the academic year 2026–2027. A large part of the teaching will move to the Pasila campus, and hospitality management education will also get new premises close to customer flows. The location will be announced around the turn of the year.

The new premises are planned to include a teaching kitchen, restaurant, exhibition and event space, as well as other teaching and working spaces. In addition to students and staff, the premises are used by partners and other stakeholders.

Now we need a sparkling and functional new name for the new premises! You can suggest a slogan in addition to a name.

At best, the name

• reflects the activities taking place on the premises
• works in both Finnish and English
• looks to the future
• includes a glimpse of the history and traditions of Haaga's more than 50 years of restaurant and tourism education.

Head of Haaga Hospitality Campus Risto Karmavuo will award the three best name proposals with a tasty award at the same time as the location of the new premises is announced around the turn of the year.
