The graduation was held on Friday 22 April 2022 at the main campus of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). Haaga-Helia's teachers were responsible for the teaching.
– The TUT students' training programme was implemented as a completely distance learning programme for the first time. The students stated that the studies were demanding but very rewarding and educational, says Jari Laukia (in the picture), Director of the School of Vocational Teacher Education, who was present at the graduation ceremony in Pretoria.
TUT University is a long-term partner of Haaga-Helia. Since 2015, vocational teachers have been trained in a 60-credit-wide training programme in Pretoria, South Africa.
The group, which was completed this spring, was already sixth in its order.
In 2019, Haaga-Helia also started a 40-credit-wide Training the Trainers programme, in which participants train as teacher trainers.
