Body
In the autumn joint application period, 7 188 applicants applied to Haaga-Helia's bachelor and master studies. 2 413 applicants had chosen Haaga-Helia as their preferred study place. The total number of study places for studies starting in January is 945.
International opportunities attracted applicants
Haaga-Helia’s English-language programmes once again proved highly attractive to future students seeking global career paths. The most popular study option at Haaga-Helia was the International Business programme leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with nearly 10 priority applicants competing for each study place. Close behind was another BBA programme, Business Information Technology, which drew strong interest as well, with 8 priority applicants per study place.
The most sought-after master's degree programme was the English-taught Business Technologies programme with approximately 3 primary applicants per study place. The programme focuses in ICT management and business digitalisation and prepares students for challenging expert and managerial roles.
Changes in the bachelor degree programmes' admission
This year’s admissions process brought some notable changes to bachelor's programmes' student selection. During this joint application round, Haaga-Helia does not use the International UAS exam in the student selection to the bachelor degree programmes in English. Instead, in this joint application round, the selection is made based on certificates (Finnish upper secondary school, IB, EB, RP, DIA or Finnish vocational upper secondary qualification).
In addition to the joint application, applicants have the opportunity to apply to English-taught bachelor programmes through Rolling Admission, a flexible alternative that allows students to apply with specific certificates or a SAT test. One of its main advantages is the short waiting time in the application process: applicants receive their results soon after the admission interview. The Rolling admission is still open until 30 September 2025, so act fast to secure your spot in Haaga-Helia's bachelor programmes.
These changes do not apply the the selection for master degree students.
