To publish in Theseus

Check out the instructions: Thesis, Bachelor's degree (Section 7. Publishing a thesis) or Thesis, Master's degree (Section 3. Finalising).

  1. Double-check you haven't left any confidential information in the thesis text, title, file name, etc. Publication will be delayed, if these need to be altered after upload.
  2. Be prepared for a delay of 1-2 days before the thesis link is activated.

Open or restricted collection?

Theses are published in the open collection of Theseus. If the commissioning party does not want the thesis to be published in an open collection, you can save it in the restricted collection of Theseus.

The restricted collection doesn't mean no trace of its theses can be found online. The abstract and metadata (title, author, etc.) are still available on the net. By law, theses are public documents. The full text of theses in the restricted collection can be read on computers on Haaga-Helia's campuses or by request. Theses in the open collection can be read from start to finish freely online.
