Pia Kiikeri works as a lecturer at Haaga-Helia Professional Teacher Education College. She holds a Doctor of Education (KT) degree, is a vocational teacher and a vocational special needs teacher.
Kiikeri has 30 years of experience in vocational education and its development. For the past seven years, she has worked as a lecturer at the Professional Teacher Education College, developing, among other things, various artificial intelligence and digital pedagogical learning and teaching solutions, and works in various research and development projects and teams. In her doctoral dissertation Kiikeri (2025) discusses The Joy of Learning in Online Studies in Vocational Education. Kiikeri has worked as a project manager in several projects and has also been awarded nationally as a developer, such as the Pinni-Kultakampa Reputation Award 2021.
Kiikeri works in the KOPEDA research group of Haaga-Helia Higher Education Pedagogy.
