Haaga-Helia offers its students several different ways of internationalisation at home, one of these options is a virtual exchange.

You can do a virtual exchange by completing:

  • An online course offered by Haaga-Helia Partner Institution or Online course offered by Ulysseus European University
  • Haaga-Helia's own course, in which students from partner universities also participate (COIL)

You can complete a virtual exchange at any time during your studies, as long as you meet the requirements of the course, and the studies can be transferred to your degree.   

Virtual courses offered by partner universities

Many of our partner institutions organise virtual exchanges or virtual summer or winter schools. These are a great opportunity to enrich your studies with various courses and develop your language skills!

How to apply

  1. Choose your virtual exchange destination from the list below
  2. Before applying for a course, make sure with Haaga-Helia International Services that it is suitable for your degree. Send course details and a request for confirmation by email to [email protected].
  3. Apply directly to the partner institution immediately when possible 

Your International Affairs Specialist approves your application and study plan and transfers your completed credits to your PSP.

Virtual courses offered by partner universities

After exchange

  1. Complete your virtual studies successfully.
  2. After that, fill out the credit transfer form at Peppi and send it to your international affairs specialist for approval.
