VALOHUB – A national hub for high quality vocational education

The objective of the project is to develop aligned, flexible and cost effective models that enable educational institutions to support the systematic development of teachers’ competence at different stages of their careers, with particular emphasis on the early career phase.

Primary target group

• teaching staff in vocational education and training (VET) institutions and universities of applied sciences, and
• personnel responsible for teachers’ continuous learning and competence development

Key measures

• creating an up to date situational overview of vocational teachers’ continuous learning needs
• developing shared structures and operating models for continuous learning
• piloting flexible solutions such as micro credentials and digital badges
• developing practices that support competence leadership in educational institutions
