Promoting financial literacy in professional teacher education

The aim of the project is to strengthen financial literacy of professional teachers in Finland.

A proposal for a study module of financial literacy for professional teacher education will be developed and it will be based on the strategy, objectives and framework of financial literacy (EU/OECD/INFE). In addition, the project produces a pedagogical guide promoting teaching of financial literacy in teacher training.

The project is coordinated by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, School of Professional Teacher Education.
