The project is about increasing the service design expertise of entrepreneurs in the tourism and restaurant industry in the Uusimaa region.

The project will increase the skills and adaptability of companies in the hotel and restaurant sector to changing situations, customer needs and operating environments, especially in the wake of the Covid-19 epidemic, which has severely affected the hotel and restaurant sector in particular.

The aim of the project is to increase the professionalism of the management and staff of tourism and restaurant operators to face unexpected crises and changed situations, and to anticipate future customer needs and changes in the industry. With the help of service design training, a company can create better customer and employee experiences as well as new innovative service products and business models.

During the project, not only service design training is offered, but also peer support and expert help to carry out your own service design process in your own company. The project is in line with Priority 9 REACT-EU “Sustainable Growth and Jobs 2014–2020” and focuses in particular on the ability of micro and small enterprises and their staff to adapt and take advantage of rapid changes in the operating environment.

The project responds to the strategic priorities of the Uusimaa region focusing on successful and responsible business. It is implemented with climate-wise and diversified provincial measures in mind.
