The course ensures that graduates act towards ethical, responsible, and sustainable business practices and solutions and understand that responsible practices are a basic necessity in businesses.

After completion of this course or the equivalent assessment of prior learning, the student will be able to:

1. Identify and explain the fundamental concepts related to sustainability, responsible business, corporate responsibility, circular economy and climate-neutral business.
2. Recognize and analyze the motives and risks involved in running a responsible business.
3. Analyze and compare corporate responsibility strategies.
4. Assess the suitability of various stakeholder engagement models.
5. Analyze and evaluate the challenges and opportunities companies face in terms of ethics, responsibility and sustainability when operating in a global value chain while considering the key elements of social responsibility.

After having completed this course or attained an equivalent competence level, the student can:

o act entrepreneurially in different business-related situations
o identify and apply key concepts related to entrepreneurship and business
o describe and compare different ways of becoming an entrepreneur, entrepreneurial opportunities, forms of entrepreneurship, and company types
o assess entrepreneurship and the role of networks from an individual’s perspective
o apply the Business Model Canvas and key business concepts when describing and evaluating a business from a responsibility perspective

After having completed this course or attained an equivalent competence level, the student:
• is able to define sales processes and basic concepts
• identifies customer needs and development targets
• identifies and describes the stages of a sales process and can sell their own ideas
• operates in a service-oriented manner and provides solutions to customer needs and understands the influence of culture in the sales process
• is able to evaluate the factors influencing the customer experience, including ethics, sustainability and global megatrends.

After having completed this course or attained an equivalent competence level, the student
-recognizes the main legal concepts and framework regulating businesses in EU;
-is able to describe how companies generally are administered and how assets are distributed;
-knows the basic contractual principles relevant to conclusion and validity of contracts and is able to assess the main effects of contractual liability;
-knows consumer protection rules safeguarding the basic rights of consumers and
-knows the core rules regulating employment relationships.
