Beverages Uusimaa – Development of visitor centers for microbreweries, cideries, wineries and distilleries

Beverages Uusimaa project supports small and medium-sized beverage companies in improving their competitiveness and in interpreting and applying new legislation that is aimed at facilitating the operations of microbreweries, wineries, cider manufacturers, and distilleries.

The goals of the project are to

  1. improve the operating conditions, competitiveness and sustainable service business of beverage companies, microbreweries, cider manufacturers, wineries, and distilleries in the Uusimaa region.
  2. increase beverage companies’ competence in legislation, service business and sustainability.
  3. increase entrepreneurs’, developers’ and consumers’ awareness of Finnish food and drink culture.

The project utilises the methods of service design and co-creation. The results are:

  • Guidelines and recommendations of new legislation and directives for beverage companies
  • Service and product innovations
  • Information of and guidebooks about food and drink culture
  • Communications and marketing guidelines
  • Networks
