Would you like to pursue your exchange semester in the U.S.?

The purpose of the Fulbright Finland Undergraduate Grant Program is to support those to travel to the US for one semester/academic year to do bachelor-level:
- Exchange studies
- Free mover studies
- Degree studies

What are the benefits of the program?

The grant is USD 10 000 at the most. Some of the services that are included in the Fulbright Finland Undergraduate Grant Program are:
- one-day orientation training seminar in Finland in the spring before the departure to help prepare for studies in the U.S.
- personal advice services, flexible access to materials at Fulbright Finland Foundation
- access to the service website for all Fulbright Finland grantees at www.fulbright.fi
- support in the visa process
- support from the Finnish and U.S. alumni networks
- access to Fulbright Finland Foundation's alumni network in Finland and in the U.S.
- The Award Ceremony together with all the other Fulbright Finland grantees

Eligibility

The grant can be given to:
- Degree-students: for first-year studies that begin in the U.S. in the fall semester of 2023
- Students carrying out fixed-term (one semester/academic year) bachelor-level studies
- Finnish citizens
Applicants with little or no experience with the U.S. might be favoured when selecting the grantees.
