This spring, Haaga-Helia is hosting a six-week intensive programme on digital studies for Thai high school students as part of the ODOS Summer Camp programme. The programme marks the first study programme developed for a group of Thai students.
The programme will host 44 students selected by Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), all of whom have demonstrated strong aptitude in information technology and digital innovation studies. The students will be welcomed to Haaga-Helia on Monday, 30 March 2026.
The programme offers a hands-on learning experience through applied projects, academic visits, and cultural immersion, providing participants with a holistic understanding of how digital technologies drive modern business and society in Finland.
Applied courses are intensive versions of the courses from Haaga-Helia’s Degree Programme in Business and Information Technology, on relevant topics such as artificial Intelligence, business‑driven ICT, data-analytics, innovation and prototyping.
During the six-week period, participants engage directly with Finland’s leading digital and innovation ecosystem through excursions to different leading companies in the ICT industry. These visits connect theory to practice and showcase to the young students how digital transformation works in globally competitive companies.
Excursions are complemented by weekly guided cultural activities, through which participants learn about Finnish society, sustainability and ways of living in Finland. The aim of these activities is to strengthen participants’ cross-cultural understanding, broaden the perspectives of young students, and encourage them to pursue further international experiences in the future.
