Unilever Finland’s focus for the upcoming years is to find diverse talent, but for entry level positions the targeted focus will be especially on sales and marketing students and their future career opportunities in an international and well-known brand house.

– Haaga-Helia immediately came to my mind when I was thinking about who could help us in this. I have previously cooperated with Haaga-Helia in different companies, and I have very good experiences from these partnerships. I knew that Haaga-Helia’s curricula would be a good match for Unilever's future Talent & Early Careers needs, and that we could attract students as a partner company, says Kira Soini, Nordic Talent Advisor Lead at Unilever.

Partnership broadens students' future career prospects

Although the partnership between Unilever and Haaga Helias has only just started, Unilever has already visited Haaga-Helia’s Pasila campus at the Uratori event, where they were able to present the new partnership and the company, and talk to students. According to Soini, the event was a very positive experience, and the students were very interested in the partnership.

In the future, Unilever plans to be involved as a guest lecturer on courses, organise company visits and be involved in other potential projects. Unilever offers students a wide range of jobs and trainee roles are planned for future talents.

– I believe that by working together we will be able to offer students excellent career opportunities. In turn, we as an employer will raise awareness of our company among students. Haaga-Helia's study options match our skills needs, and I believe that this will enable us both to benefit greatly from the cooperation, concludes Soini.

Unilever manufactures and markets more than 400 well-known grocery brands worldwide and employs 127 000 people in more than 190 countries.
