Student unions are ready to increase movement with the 3AMK Moves project
Helga, Laureamko and METKA have accepted the official 3AMK Moves project balls. Now they prepare to create activity pledges and test them.

Body
During the current academic year, the symbolic 3AMK Moves balls will circulate in the 3AMK higher education communities. The team that receives the symbolic ball is encouraged to come up with an activity pledge and test it in practice. With the activity pledge, the team commits to trying, for example, increasing movement and taking breaks from sitting still in a way that suits the team's everyday life. The activity pledges made and tested will be used in the making of 3AMK's common movement guideline in spring 2025.
Now the symbolic 3AMK Moves balls have passed from 3AMK universities’ managements to student unions. When Helga, Laureamko and METKA have made their activity pledges, they will pass on the symbolic balls to their universities’ student associations and organizations. Student unions, associations and organizations play a significant role in creating the 3AMK’s common movement guideline, as they bring students' perspectives to it. In November, these balls will also be passed on to various staff teams within the universities.
Behind these symbolic balls is 3AMK Moves project. 3AMK Moves aims to develop higher education culture through movement to support learning, well-being and communality. The project will develop higher education culture by, for example, creating a common movement guideline that encourages the 3AMK higher education community to take movement into account and increase it in all activities.
The given activity pledges can be seen on 3AMK Moves -project’s own site even before the movement guideline is designed. Activity pledges are updated on the website once a week in the language in which they have been submitted. The activity pledges can be found at 3amk.fi/liikuttaa/liikelupaukset.
