Spring and summer schedules and enrollment
The schedules for spring and summer studies 2025 will be published on Mon 18 November in Timetable tool (Lukkarikone). Enrollment for spring and summer studies begins on 25 November 2024 at 8.00 am and ends on 2 December 2024 at 16.00. The post-enrollment begins on 2 January 2025 at 8.00 am and ends at 16.00 on the Friday of the week before the implementation begins.
Response to student survey feedback
Thank you to all of you who responded to the student survey in spring 2024 and who have given the course feedback. The Master's degree development group discussed the responses at its meeting. A total of 101 students responded to the student survey (response rate 23.1 %). According to the responses, the library and IT services were considered good, as was interaction with the head of the specialisation. In terms of electronic services, the Timetable tool received poor feedback. The respondents also felt that opportunities to develop teaching and student services were rather poor.
Giving feedback through the surveys included in our quality system is the best way for students to make a difference, and we hope you will use them to express your wishes. The course feedback regarding spring teaching was mainly in line with Haaga-Helia's target level (overall grade over 3.8). The number of respondents is low on some courses, and the aim is to increase the response rate so that the results would be more reliable and we could better take student feedback into account in developing the courses. Read more about the summary of the students’ answers.
Thesis
The thesis should be started at the beginning of the third semester i.e. second study year the latest. You can find support and information from Master thesis web page and on the Applied Design Research course. If you don’t have a thesis topic yet, remember to participate in the Master seminar of your specialisation where you can get support for ideation.
