Spring and summer schedules and enrolment  

Enrolment for 4th period implementations ends on Fri 21 March and enrolment for summer implementations ends on Fri 16 May. Please check the list of spring and summer implementations on Master timetable pages. You will find a detailed schedule in Timetable tool (Lukkarikone).  

Curricula and PSP update  

A new curriculum will come into effect for students starting in autumn 2025. The degree structure for current degree students will remain the same, but the courses and their contents will be updated. Therefore, current students will update the new courses in their PSPs. You will receive more information about this from your guidance counsellor in week 10. 

New thesis workshop in May 

On Monday 12.5. there will be a new ‘AI in thesis’ workshop. The workshop is multilingual. Presentation is in Finnish with subtitles and English slides. Participants may join conversation either in Finnish or in English. The workshop will be held in Zoom. Enrol for thesis workshop in Webropol. 

Library’s trainings 

Library will arrange training sessions during spring on the following topics: Master's Thesis, Reference management with Mendeley and Data management in thesis. Check the detailed schedules and participation instructions. 

Language Café on Thursdays 

Come to Pasila campus library to chat and enjoy a cup of coffee on Thursdays between 13 and 15 o’clock. It doesn't matter if you only know a few words in Finnish. Check Language Café calendar.

FSHS student healthcare fee

Remember to pay the FSHS student healthcare fee by 15 March 2025 in OmaKela. You can choose to pay either just for the spring term or for the entire year at once. You do not have to pay the healthcare fee if you have social security coverage from another EU/EEA country, Switzerland, Great Britain or Northern Ireland. Students’ wellbeing services 

If you have any concerns related to studying or student wellbeing, the wellbeing services are here to support you throughout your studies. You can book an individual guidance sessions with special education teachers, study coaches, and study psychologists through the online booking service. To schedule an appointment with the university chaplain, please contact them via email. More information about the services and how to book appointments can be found on wellbeing services’ website. 

Ulysseus Creative Digital Tools #2 BIP in Slovakia 

Ulysseus European University is excited to announce the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Creative Digital Tools – Data Visualization #2, scheduled for May 2025 in Košice, Slovakia. Thesis 

The thesis should be started at the beginning of the third semester i.e. second study year the latest. You can find support and information from Master thesis web page and on the Applied Design Research course. If you don’t have a thesis topic yet, remember to participate in the Master seminar of your specialisation where you can get support for ideation.
