PRELIMINARY COURSE OFFERING FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 22-23 AND AUTUMN’S SCHEDULE

Master’s preliminary course offering for the next academic was published on Master students’ pages on Tue 5 April. The more detailed timetables for autumn 2022 (e.g. meeting times for contact teaching courses) will be published on Lukkarikone (Timetable Machine) at the end of May on Mon 23 May.

MASTER STUDENTS AND ALUMNI EVENT ON PASILA CAMPUS APRIL 28 at 4.30 p.m.

At the event you will hear guest speakers from business life and the Peace Education Institute. What should a Master-student and persons in managerial positions know about diversity, tolerance and equality? What is good management like from the point of view of inclusion ? You will also hear practical tips on improving your manager skills.

The themes of diversity and inclusion are topical at the moment in many ways, so please come to listen to our guest speakers and stop for a moment to ponder your work role from a peace perspective. Welcome to answer the ongoing Haaga-Helia´s Student survey!

We are interested to hear your feedback on your studies, our teaching and academic guidance provided, as well as all the services you have utilized so far. By responding, you help Haaga-Helia to support student well-being and the way education and services will be developed.

You have received a personal link to the survey on Mon 4 Apr, from the address Haaga-Helia opiskelijakysely messages-noreply@webropolsurveys.com Our survey is anonymous and the link remains active until 17 April (end of the week 15). Results from the survey will be published in Quality Portal later in spring.

Management, Master’s degrees, meetings in-between the students and their specialization, the Student Wellbeing Working Group, student union Helga and service functions, will process feedback and development suggestions provided by the students.

ZOOM-DISCUSSIONS ON BETTER SELF-KNOWLEDGE ON VARIOUS TOPICS (IN FINNISH)

Self-knowledge is useful at studies, at work as well as in other fields of life. The Zoom-discussions on wellbeing started in March. In these sessions e.g. the importance of self-knowledge, work engagement, emotional intelligence and courage are discussed. You can still join the sessions. MASTER THESIS

Please remember, that Master Thesis should be commenced in the beginning of the second study year the latest. Please enroll to Applied Design Research course by the beginning of the second study year the latest. You should have a topic for your thesis when you enroll to the course.
