Interest in partnership arose at the Duuniin.net event in March, where representatives of the company noticed how much positive attention it garnered among students.
The partnership was sealed at Haaga-Helia's Pasila campus, where Management Events' Talent Acquisition Specialist Miira Malmivuori met with President Minna Hiillos. Haaga-Helia's Customer Relationship Manager Riku Korosuo also attended the meeting.
According to Malmivuori, Management Events is particularly interested in recruiting students from the sales side. Thus far, the company has been very satisfied with the sales students from Haaga-Helia, which is why it would like to have more of them on its team.
"We just recruited two more international trainees the other day. Business administrations are currently sought-after employees, as discussions with business leaders and decision-makers require a huge amount of business understanding," she summarises.
According to Malmivuori, the coronavirus pandemic, that has plagued the world, has accelerated the necessary change in the virtual direction, which has made it even smoother to meet busy business leaders around the world.
The company has many international trainees, especially in virtual production.
Management Events is a Finnish company founded in 1990 and currently operates in ten different countries. The company has approximately 250 employees in total.
