Haaga-Helia’s new partner is Folka, a staffing services company, that offers a broad variety of services regarding staffing service and recruiting. Folka employs over 700 hundred workers around Finland daily and fills a hundred recruiting commissions annually.
Folka and Haaga-Helia’s partnership agreement was signed in Pasila 12 October. Folka’s CEO Heikki Lamminpää and marketing specialist Anne-Mari Kulju visited on campus and signed the agreement.
Folka’s goal is to make the company even more known among students and kickstart students’ careers during their studies and after graduation. Working through a staffing services company is a great way to work part-time while studying, do internships and find employment after graduating.
The partnership has already included the branding of Folka’s own classroom in Pasila, attendance in a career fair and job advertisements on JobTeaser. Folka will also come on campus and host a recruiting stand for students. Haaga-Helia is already familiar at Folka, since many of Haaga-Helia’s students and alumni work there for example in the departments of marketing, sales, and HR.
