In the joint application that ended yesterday, a total of 13 859 applicants applied to study at Haaga-Helia. Compared to the previous year, the number of applicants decreased by 23 percent (2021: 18 035). In the second application round of the spring, applicants can apply to Finnish and Swedish implementations.

As during the previous years, education leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree kept its place as the most popular study option. This spring, the most popular degree programme was business administration (liiketalouden koulutus) with 3 785 applicants. The multimodal implementation of business administration education also attracted a large number of applications (2 384).

There was a subtle increase in the number of applicants for a bachelor's degree in information technology (tietojenkäsittelyn koulutus). A total of 1 425 applications were received for the daytime implementation of the programme (2021: 1 414). In addition, the number of primary applicants increased in the multimodal implementations of information technology and business administration in Helsinki and Porvoo. In general, there clearly is a growing interest towards multimodal and virtual implementations.

In the second joint application round in the spring, Haaga-Helia offered five degree programmes (implemented in Finnish) leading to a bachelor's degree and five programmes leading to a master's degree. In total, there are 1 572 available study places.
