The first teacher trainers trained by Haaga-Helia graduated in South Africa

Since 2015, vocational teachers have  been trained in Pretoria, South Africa, out of 60 credits wide programmes. In 2019, Haaga-Helia started Training the Trainers programme, where participants train as teacher trainers.

Training the Trainers programme was carried out in Haaga-Helia's educational exports for the first time. It was unique in that there is no systematic training available for teacher trainers in South Africa. 

Now graduated teacher trainers come to work as pedagogical developers. In the future, they will also be training teachers at TUT University and also, more broadly, at higher education institutions in South Africa.
