European Approach accreditation confirmed for the UlysseusAI degree

Ulysseus AI programme is designed and implemented in collaboration with Ulysseus partners and includes, after completing studies at Haaga-Helia, a mobility period either at the University of Seville or at the Technical University of Košice.

In December, the programme was granted the prestigious European Approach accreditation by the German accreditation agency AQAS. The European Approach is a rigorous quality assurance procedure for European joint degrees, recommended by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) as best practice for joint programmes.

According to Vice President Minna Hiillos, the quality label awarded to UlysseusAI is a valuable addition to Haaga-Helia’s previous accreditations: THE-ICE for hospitality management, ICCE for sports education, and the recently obtained EFMD for business education.

During the process, a detailed self-assessment report was prepared on the content, implementation, and partner procedures of the UlysseusAI programme. From a quality development perspective, it has been particularly beneficial that the objectives and content of the new programme have been agreed upon in great detail with partners representing different cultures.
