Collaboration between Haaga-Helia and Peruvian UPC university teacher education deepened

Jari Laukia, the director of the School of Vocational Teacher Education, met Manuel Rodriguez, the director of teacher education at the Peruvian UPC University, at the Pasila Campus of Haaga-Helia on September 29th. Plans include e.g. training related to teacher education and degree programmes.

The deepening of the cooperation will continue when the group from Peru visits Haaga-Helia this week.

Education export is a significant part of Haaga-Helia's teacher education activities. In recent years, international cooperation has expanded strongly to Latin America. For example, last year Haaga-Helia trained teachers and education leaders in Peru in cooperation with Omnia Education Partnership and UNESCO.
