During the project, solutions will be developed and tested that genuinely promote sustainable consumption and business in Finland, generating economic value for various parties.
Why?
- For companies, developing circular economy methods brings new business opportunities, profitability, and competitiveness.
- New forms of cooperation and refined operating models in collaboration between companies, the public sector, and organizations can enable solutions that bring added value to all parties in the network.
- Changes in the operating environment are driving circular economy solutions: e.g., rising raw material prices, regulatory requirements, and consumer behavior.
What?
- We facilitate the development and testing of new circular economy solutions in new types of networks that include different types of companies, public actors such as libraries, and the association and organization sector.
- Together, we seek solutions that support sustainable consumption and create value for all parties involved.
- The project's target groups are companies, public sector organizations, and associations and organizations nationwide.
Objectives
The project proposes a systemic change towards a carbon-neutral circular economy society, focusing in particular on promoting sustainable consumption and business by developing circular economy-based service and business models through cooperation networks.
The activities are divided into four objectives:
- Developing and testing new solutions
- Integrating smart materials management and maintenance into development
- Disseminating solutions and promoting systemic change
- Promoting circular economy expertise through communication and networking
