Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping workplaces, putting experienced knowledge workers in support functions at risk of falling behind in digital transformation. These professionals play key roles within organisations but often lack essential AI skills to ensure future job security.
The FinEstAI project addresses this challenge by equipping women aged 50+ in support roles across Finland and Estonia with crucial AI skills. Haaga-Helia and Estonian Business School will jointly create a cross-border training programme that combines practical AI training with collaboration among businesses, universities, and professional associations. By building confidence in participants’ ability to acquire and apply new skills, the project empowers them to adapt, remain employable, and continue contributing meaningfully to their organisations.
